Introduction

In the previous chapters, we hope that we've shown you ways of tackling successfully a range of difficulties that will help you to achieve greater personal effectiveness in your life. Definitions of personal effectiveness are, of course, highly subjective, for example, one person may see being assertive in certain situations as her desired outcome while another wants to start his own business.
