I wrote this book in order to help other people find joy in their work because so many people helped me in the same pursuit. When I first proposed the book, with Whitney Johnson’s kind encouragement, I had no idea how rewarding or how challenging this experience would be. The process of researching and writing Life After Law, while working two part-time jobs, competing over six months for my dream job, and mothering a young child, was only feasible because the following people were so generous.
