Test! Test! Test!

I urge you to adopt the mantra: “Test! Test! Test!” Usability testing is that important.

Any time you have someone try to use what you’ve developed you are doing usability testing. If you ask someone to read your web content out loud and tell you what it means, you are doing a usability test. If you have someone try to find information on your web site and have them think out loud while doing it, you are doing a usability test.
