Although some people worry more than others, most people take some precautions, buy insurance, or take other actions to reduce risk. Even the most brazen among us don’t walk around high-crime urban neighborhoods counting wads of cash after dark. But some people do pretty dumb things—like driving a car without wearing a seatbelt or allowing their kids to do the same.
