Chapter Two. The Computer

A significant improvement in performance with Lightroom and Photoshop will be achieved if you have a computer that can comfortably handle the software and today’s high-resolution DSLR camera files. Needless to say, the fastest computers and laptops currently available are the best choice for processing and archiving a large volume of images. Your computer will benefit from having as much RAM memory as you can pack into your system. I recommend you have at least 2GB of RAM installed on your computer, and 4GB is better.
