“I think it’ll work.” Ginny grinned at the screen. “It’s a good thing we chose not to program the microbot down there, Mason.”
“Why is that?” asked Henry.
“Our microbots use a special type of memory. Once the code is uploaded, it can’t be changed. It’s a security option we implemented to keep them from being reprogrammed.”
Louie floated over and bumped against Ginny as he tried to get in the camera’s field of vision. “How will we know if the little fellow is successful?”
Henry frowned. “If the microbot can repair the interface port first, we’ll be able to monitor the memory module and CPU heat sink repair before flipping the switch.”
