Understanding the Challenge Rules

Several rules must be followed to run the challenge properly. If multiple teams are running the challenge, rules can be altered or removed if all players are in agreement. The rules for the Mars Base Gamma challenge follow:

  1. The robot created to attempt the missions must be built using parts from a LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT robotics kit (Retail or Education versions 1.0 or higher).
  2. A minimum of one robotics kit must be used to build the robot; special commendations are available for successful completion of missions using a single robotics kit.
  3. A maximum of two robotics kit may be used to build the robot.
