Failover of the identity management appliance

The identity management appliance does not provide any high availability features out of the box. However, we should be considering one or all of the following options:

Leverage vSphere HA as the first option.
The IDM appliance can be FT (vSphere) protected along with vSphere HA. The good news about vSphere 6.0 is that FT supports up to 4 vCPUs.
