Things to remember

Every installation needs to be functionally validated before approving the acceptance of a configuration.

While configuring an endpoint, business group, fabric group, and blueprint, you may encounter a few challenges. I wanted to touch upon some of my experiences of such challenges:

  • On completing the installation of all the vRA components, restart all the active nodes before you begin the functional validation.
  • While configuring an endpoint, ensure the user has privileges at the root folder in vCenter.
  • Since the errors are not thrown upfront while configuring an endpoint, check (Infrastructure | Monitoring | Log) for any endpoint-related errors and fix them.
