Earlier in this book, we learned about dependency injection and dependency inversion with InversifyJS. In this section, we are going to learn how to use InversifyJS together with Express, using a helper npm module known as inversify-express-utils. We are going to need to install inversify and inversify-express-utils:
npm install inversify inversify-express-utils
Please note that to be able to run this example without problems, you must first install all dependencies using npm install from the chapter_10 folder in the companion source code. Then you can open the 10_inversify_express_utils folder.
