When

Programmers value efficiency, both in code and in the rest of life. They like to help, but they also value their time. Don’t ask a question until you have first done your best to find an answer on your own. Before I post a question on StackOverflow, I ask myself:

1. Have I Googled it? What results did I get from Google, and why did they not answer my question?

2. Have I read through the documentation? What sections of the documentation did I read, and why did they not answer my question?

3. Has anyone else already asked this question? Why do the answers of the previously asked question not work for my situation?
