Identifying Quality Resources

Sadly, not everything on the Internet is high quality. This is true for programing information as much as anything else. Beware of websites and books that are not high quality. I picked up a lot of false information and bad habits by trusting sites that were outdated and poorly written. Unfortunately, you might have to make this mistake a few times before you can distinguish between high- and low-quality resources. Beware if the site you are visiting has a whole bunch of ads, especially if they have little or nothing to do with programming.
