Summary

In this chapter, we continued to work with our new Splunk App but we moved on to developing our interface with Simple XML. We learned what Simple XML was and how to view the underlying Simple XML code for our application dashboards and views via the Splunk Code Editor. We continued to work on our example application, where we added more features to our interface using the Simple XML code and provided a breakdown of the different parts of the code and the options we can use to further configure the look and feel of the interface.
