In this chapter, we explored the developer workflow and the toolsets required to start building Lightning Components. It's always recommended to use an IDE to accelerate the building of Lightning Components. We covered the Salesforce extension pack for Salesforce DX for Visual Studio Code. There are lot more IDE options, such as Eclipse with the Force.com plugin (https://developer.Salesforce.com/tools/forceide2), Illuminated Cloud (http://www.illuminatedcloud.com/), the Welkin Suite (https://welkinsuite.com/), or one of the many other alternatives, and you can use the one that best suits your needs.
