Regarding the execution of the inner transformation, you have the option of capturing the results. You can collect just the step metrics (number of rows read, rejected, and more) or you can have the complete log of the execution. For this, proceed as follows:
- Drag to the work area a step where you want to redirect the results. It could be any step, for example, a Text file output or a Write to log step.
- Create a hop from the Transformation Executor toward this new step. You will be prompted for the kind of hop. Choose the This output will contain the execution results option, as shown here:
