If you look at the Execution Results window, you will see a Performance Graphs tab. This tab shows you a performance evolution graph based on the Step Metrics. By analyzing this graph, you can fine-tune the performance.
In order to see the performance graphs, you have to enable the step performance monitoring, as explained here:
- Open the Transformation Properties window by double-clicking anywhere in the work area.
- Select the Monitoring tab and check the Enable step performance monitoring? option.
