Activating the Interface
The primary function of the Contact activity is to save information about the user’s contacts. The saving of data is beyond the scope of this chapter but is addressed in the next chapter. However, other functions can be implemented at this time. This section demonstrates the coding of the navigation bar, coding the toggle button to switch between editing and viewing modes, coding the Change Birthday button to display the dialog window, and coding the dialog.
