Registering Devices

Each device that is used for testing must be registered with Apple. This can be done in several ways.

If you have a classroom set of devices to be used for development, the simplest option is to use the iOS Developer Center website and choose Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles. Then choose Devices, which will give you an option to add new devices. You can add devices individually or as a batch of up to 100 devices at a time. You need to supply the UDID for each device. These are very long strings of letters and numbers that uniquely identify each iOS device.
