Creating an APK File
As noted previously, the package file format for Android applications is the Android application package (APK). The actual file extension is simply .apk.
Two methods work for creating an APK file. First we look at how to download the file directly to your computer and provide options for moving it to your Android device. Then we examine using a QR code.
