Static Content

Static content items are created in the same way as the content items we have just been describing. Static content items do not have any section or category organization, and are typically used for "standalone" pieces of content, like an "About Us" page, or as in the case of the standard Mambo installation, The Mambo License. They are used for "standalone" pieces of content because there is no support for creating an automatic listing of static content items in a particular place, because of their lack of section-category structure.
