Chapter 10. Putting It All Together

The previous chapters have covered the fundamentals of Struts. Initial elements of our small web shop have been conceptualized. Now it is time to put together all that we have learned so far and develop the shop further.

We begin by copying shop6 and renaming it shop7.

Currently, our shop consists of many stand-alone elements. We have a welcome page, a database, and a consistent logging mechanism. Our shop can also create records of books and authors. Nevertheless, it still lacks a few components, security concepts and customer-related components being the most vital.
