Building the model car - prerequisites

Now that you know what each of the hardware components do, we will see how we can put everything together and get the car moving by pressing the keys on your computer's keyboard. As a prerequisite, you need access to a computer, and you should set up a local P2P network using your computer. The Photon should be flashed with the VoodooSpark (https://github.com/voodootikigod/voodoospark) firmware. This is covered in the Setting up a P2P network for Particle devices section in Chapter 3, P2P and Local Server. Before you set out to write the code, make sure you have assembled the car, and have connected the various hardware components as described in the previous section.
