Summary
In this chapter, we discussed various data operation coding using Java, different REST and Thrift services and how to use them, MapReduce in HBase, and a sample code. We learned a bit about coprocessors; bloom filters, interfaces, classes, and the exceptions provided by HBase in its packages. In the next chapter, we will discuss use cases using HBase in industry, and the architecture of these use cases.
