Using Your Emacs Work Environment

Now you’ve learned a few of the things you can do without leaving Emacs. The next two chapters describe even more tasks you can do within Emacs. Chapter 6 discusses sending and reading mail from Emacs, as well as reading and posting Usenet news. Chapter 7 discusses using Emacs to access the Internet using Telnet, FTP, and the World Wide Web. By learning to use these common tools within Emacs, you can integrate more of your work in the Emacs work environment.
