Appendix G. Give and It Shall Be Given

Developing and maintaining software is expensive, even with volunteer labor. It is only fair that we make it clear that the Free Software Foundation’s work doesn’t take place in a vacuum. Their publications always ask for these contributions:

  • Computer hardware

  • Labor (i.e., your time)

  • Money

We won’t presume to tell you what kinds of hardware or labor the foundation will find useful at any given time. If you’d like to donate your talent or equipment, contact them. However, as an abstract means of exchange, the FSF will always be able to put money to use. Should you wish to contribute, here’s their address:
