Chapter 5. Forms

Forms are an integral part of any web application. Initially used to send an aggregate amount of data from the browser to the server and then cause a new page to be shown or generated from the server, Dojo has a special Form component which makes it possible to manage data transfer and state changes in the page in a more discrete manner. Together with this form component comes a multitude of form elements, some just augmented variants of their HTML element relatives like ComboBox or TextArea, some of a more complicated nature like the HorizontalSlide or NumberSpinner, with more getting added every month.
