The following typographical conventions are used in this book:
- Plain text
is used for computer output, such as what you would see on the screen or in a dialog box.
- Italic
is used for API function calls, class names, commands that should be typed on the command line, filenames, interface names, method names, and normal function calls.
Constant Width
is used for code samples, phrases (each is a group of words) that you see on a dialog box, structure names, and variable names.
Tip
The owl symbol is used to indicate a tip, suggestion, or general note.
Warning
The turkey symbol is used to indicate a warning.
