14. Lighting, Compositing, and Rendering

Welcome to the final stage of the project! In this chapter, you’ll light your scene to match the real footage, learn how to set your scene up to be able to composite it using nodes, and launch the final render. Node compositing can be a little tricky to understand when you see it for the first time, but once you do a few scene composites using nodes, you’ll like it a lot. The reason why compositing is a very important and critical part of the process is that during this process, you adjust your scene and take it from merely normal render to a great-looking render by retouching colors, adding effects, mixing elements—the possibilities are nearly limitless!
