Exercises

1. Create a simple rig made of just a few bones and try different constraints to see their effects.

2. Add more shape keys to Jim’s face to achieve a more realistic set of facial expressions.

3. Create an FK/IK blend arm. You’ll need the deforming bones, an IK chain, and an FK chain, and you’ll need to set constraints that let you align the deforming bones to one of the other chains. Use drivers to control the amount of IK/FK blending.
