Selections

In this section, you’ll learn some tips about selections when you’re in Edit Mode. For the most part, selections work exactly the same as they do in Object Mode (selecting objects was covered in Chapter 2), but in Edit Mode they will be applied to vertices, edges, or faces. For example, you can add to a selection by pressing Shift or you can do a box selection by pressing B. However, the following sections cover a few selection techniques that are available only in Edit Mode.
