Post-Deployment

Once the game is out there, however, be prepared to support it. No game is perfect; players will find bugs you never dreamed of and will want to see them fixed. Some people will encounter technical issues and may need your assistance. Getting a game out to other users is just the beginning, but a well-supported game is likely to do much better in the long run.

Consider creating e-mail addresses specifically for bug reports and support requests, and make sure that information is readily available to your players. Forums can be another excellent way to manage post-deployment support as your users can help one another rather than leaving everything entirely on your shoulders.
