Having a Little Particle Fun

The Shuriken Particle System has a great deal to offer, and we’ve barely scratched the surface. The particle systems we’re using will help to spice the game’s visuals up a bit, but there’s plenty more that you could add. You could easily create end-of-level fireworks, for instance, by using sub-emitters that activate on the death of a parent emitter. A little randomness in the direction the initial particle is thrown can create a randomized arrangement of particle explosions in the sky.

Now that we have some visual effects out of the way, we can look at polishing our material with a little bit of audio panache!
