The social engineer toolkit can create a malicious file that can be loaded onto removable storage media and be used to deliver a payload when inserted into a target's computer. It is a particularly useful functionality when a social engineer wants to drop thumb drives in a target's premises hoping that someone will pick them up and insert them into their computers. The tool usually allows a user to also import their own malicious executables or use the ones that it comes with. The tool loads the malicious file as an autorun file, which means it will be run immediately by the computer upon insertion, no user action is required.
