Preloading

Preloading is a technique that has been extensively applied in marketing with enormous success and is also applicable in social engineering. Let us take an example of a movie cinema. When buying movie tickets or popcorn and drinks, there will be posters all over of upcoming movies. When seated in the cinema hall, trailers are shown of some upcoming movies with a narrator starting with words such as the scariest movie... or the most action-packed movie.... It is an advert of an upcoming movie that will be shown in the cinema and the advert is already telling you how to feel and what to expect.
