  • Poor grammar: Some social engineers come from countries that do not communicate in English as the main language. Therefore, they tend to struggle with their English and this is visible in the emails that they write and even in their voices. If one receives an email asking for help, offering huge financial gains, or requesting for some information that contains grammatical errors, there are high chances that that is a social engineering attempt.
