Fear

Fear is a sporadic expression which is automatically expressed in certain situations. Fear is biologically controlled as it involves the production of adrenaline to facilitate flight or fight responses. The characteristics of fear are raised eyebrows, a wide open mouth, and pulled-together brows. A person that feels threatened or endangered will quickly express fear. The threat could be physical, emotional, or verbal but it will trigger the same type of response. It is not easy to hide due to the many biological processes it is linked to. However, people can suppress it so that the physical show of it is minimal.
