Chapter 3. Working with Text

In this chapter, I'll show you how to work with text in the Office applications. As you'll see, the operations are almost the same for each application, so once you learn to work with text in one application, you'll be able to work with text in each of the other applications too.

You'll start with entering text itself by using the keyboard or other means. Then you'll move to navigating with the keyboard and selecting objects. You'll then be ready to learn to apply direct formatting to text and objects; use the Cut, Copy, and Paste features; and use the core Find and Replace features that the applications share.
