This edition of Learn iOS 8 App Development is largely a continuation of the previous edition. I would be remiss not to acknowledge the giants who created Learn iOS 7 App Development, on whose shoulders we now stand. Charles Cruz, my technical editor, checked every line of code and symbol to ensure complete accuracy. This was made all the more challenging because the Swift language was literally changing from one day to the next.
