Tools for Entering Text and Formulas Quickly

The most straightforward way of entering text and formulas in your workbooks is to type it in. But no matter how fast you type, it pays to know all the alternative ways of getting data and formulas into your workbooks. These range from importing the data from an existing file, connecting to an external data source, speeding up data entry by maxing out AutoCorrect, taking advantage of the powerful AutoFill feature, and using copy and paste in all its flavors.
