Summary

In this chapter, you learned how to use functions to perform calculations in your workbooks. You know that a function is a preset formula built into Excel, how to insert functions using the various tools Excel provides, and how to furnish functions with the arguments they need to work. You met Excel's main categories of functions and learned about the most useful functions they contain for general use.

In the next chapter, I'll show you how to create clear and persuasive charts.
