Why WIP Limits Apply Only to Features
Our WIP limits apply only to feature cards. Tech stories and bug fixes aren’t included in the WIP limit.
The reason bugs aren’t included in the WIP limit (yet) is because they often are quite urgent and quite small. Besides, we don’t yet have a very consistent way of handling bugs on the board. Sometimes bugs are on the board, and sometimes they’re not, so we don’t want to create too many rules around this just yet.
