Chapter 9Handling Bugs

Before we moved to Kanban, we handled bugs the traditional way. The testers would find bugs during system test at the end of the development cycle and log them in the bug tracker. The bug tracker contained hundreds of bugs, and a change control board met every week to analyze, prioritize, and assign bugs to developers. This was a pretty boring and ineffective process for everyone involved (and everyone was involved...).
