SECTION FOURRECALCULATING

Once we have programmed Gabby with our settings and our destination and we are under way, she tells us, “Please follow the highlighted route.” All we have to do is follow her directions.

On her monitor we can see the path she has drawn for us in vivid pink. It’s a visual alert. As long as we stay on that pink line, we are OK. But as soon as we cross it by missing a turn, Gabby promptly (and annoyingly) lets us know: “Recalculating! Recalculating!” She takes our error into consideration and advises us how to make the fastest correction to get back on course.
