CHAPTER 13Celebrate!
Some trips that we take in our car are pretty straightforward. Getting from point A to point B, with or without Gabby’s help, is no big deal. Others, however, are a different story.
We recall one trip in particular. Our destination was in a business complex outside of Dallas, Texas. We kept one eye on Gabby’s outlined route (a pink line), and another on the road as we listened to Gabby tell us to turn, then turn again.
We missed our turn. “Recalculating,” she chanted. It seemed as though every correction we made did not satisfy her, and she’d come back with her annoying taunt.
