THE AUTHORS
Lee G. Bolman is an author, teacher, and consultant. His earlier work on organizational leadership awakened his interest in the spiritual underpinnings of life at work. Born in Brooklyn, New York, to Midwestern parents, he has journeyed physically and spiritually between East and West ever since. Along the way, he earned a B.A. degree in history and a Ph.D. degree in organizational behavior at Yale University. He currently holds the Marion Bloch/Missouri Chair in Leadership at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He has consulted to corporations, public agencies, universities, and public schools all over the world, though he generally prefers staying home with his family or meandering on mountain trails.
