This is where you operationalize your Noble Purpose. That means bringing it to life in daily operations and using it as a framework for decision-making.

Find Your Noble Knights

During your launch phase, your exemplars likely emerged. These are the people who were living your Noble Purpose before you named it. They're high performers who want this to be successful. These are your Noble Knights.

This should be a cross-section of people who are recognized leaders and are embedded in critical areas of your operation. You may have a champion in each country, or each department. They don't all have to be at the same level. This may be a growth opportunity for a high-potential newcomer. Another member may be a senior leader with a strong track record of getting things done. You want people who are engaged and can make things happen.

Within 60 days of your launch, choose your team and pull them together. This group will be tasked with operationalizing your purpose at every level of the organization. They'll look for creative ways to bring your purpose to life, and concrete ways to measure your purpose. This is likely to include refining your key performance indicators (KPIs). They'll be looking across the organization to identify what you're already doing well, which you can leverage, and areas where you may be out of alignment with your purpose. ...
