Chapter 2. Knowing Yourself Should Be Easy. It Isn’t. Why Is That?

This is the first of our stories set in Blakenfield, a fictitious town in the Midwest. All the people in this book are real, as are their stories. As I mentioned in the Introduction, the people in these stories asked that we change their names and locations, to respect their privacy.
