You may have been reading these paragraphs thinking, Yes, that’s true, I’ve seen it and felt it. I am my best self when I’ve worked for trustworthy leaders, and that’s the sort of leader I want to be. Or you may have had exactly the opposite reaction. You may be thinking: That’s bullshit. Business isn’t about trust; it’s about winning. Successful CEOs care only about the bottom line. You are welcome, of course, to think what you like.
