The story of GE's Six Sigma implementation has been pretty much beaten to death in the media so, rather than reiterating the highlights of the financial results, we'll provide a more personal, first-hand account of what it was like to be at GE at the time. What follows are the personal experiences of Roger Hoerl in the midst of this implementation, with some key points clarified.
