Creating Shared Context

“All truth passes through three stages. . . . First it is ridiculed, second it is violently opposed, third it is accepted as being self-evident.” This comment is variously attributed to eighteenth-century philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer, George Bernard Shaw, and Mahatma Gandhi.
